A careless whisper
Moments missed
And heartbeats skipped
A short farewell
A change of mood
Butterflies and nausea
Wet cheeks, she's distraught.
Where's the elation?
They've lost the exhilaration.
No more love.
She'll watch it disappear
The heat and tension
A sort of electricity,
Faded to dust.
