what has happened to our handmade days?

Hello strangers,lovers and all you others.

I actually don't apologise for being absent, it shows a rise in motivation for my revision and coursework. However, as the end is nigh' I now have a lot more time for internet..stuff.

I have many things to share with you, poetry and such, that shall all come at a later date! For now let me share a little idea my friend Bianca and I came up with!

We're going to start a new blog (ooh, how original!) ha, Tartan & Tatters, look out for it! We are the dorabees and we're bringing affordable, adorable custom clothing and jewellery your way! This will also be a place for us to showcase photographic jaunts that come from our daydreaming minds, poetic and such.

So to anyone who actually bothers reading my drivel as soon as the other blog is set up perchance you would like to give it a ganders? SPLENDID NOW LET US JOURNEY ON.

My last blog had references to summer, as will this one.

I am now not going to Leeds festival due to financing, I feel that my money will be better spent on different train tickets to far off corners of England mainly to follow the band Redtrack who can be found here www.myspace.com/redtracktheband This is totally a useful way to spend my money, socialising and whatnot, also all the photography opportunities!

Please accept my apologies for being an absentee. Life gets a little in the way.

The countdown has begun! Only a few weeks of school left and then my real adventure begins as this summer has been dubbed as having to be "the one" har har.

V festival and possibly Leeds? I really do hope I go to Leeds, purely for The Libertines! I am absolutely stoked they have reformed. ^-^

I've entered yet another, thing, not a charity thing this time, it's a competition, "Face of Bank" really it was just a venture to see how many votes I get but now I would sort of like to win just to show that a brunette can knock a foundation faced blonde haired...Bimbo..i mean girl. haha No offence meant, I don't judge on looks.

But yes, I don't have a good chance of winning i need a hundred times as many votes as i have.. :l

Another surprising and happy day!

Received my exam results for my science re-takes, I didn't fail!

Exact same marks for Chemistry, so that's a C

B for Physics! :D

So hopefully my second half of the exams will go just as well ^^

Functional skills (lol) results too, Passed maths, english and ICT level two, but failed level one ICT? hahah

Hopefully I won't have to re-take the whole lot!

I had my college interview today, after two rather simple assessments I was sat down to wait for "ten minutes" to see my tutor.

What. a. lovely. woman!!

She was so down to earth -phew- So, although my portfolio wasn't really very good she has offered me a place on the fashion course after saying I am "mature, appear enthusiastic about fashion, and I read cutting edge magazines, rather than just saying I read vogue " I feel this face is appropriate":p"

So as of September I'll be a fashion student!

In related news, I am running SIX MILES for sport relief. May not sound a lot, but I'm not, how shall we say, athletic. AT ALL.

I feel this is such a positive thing for me to be doing not only for the great cause but for a progression on my route of a better lifestyle.

I feel it's helped to show me I can make the right decisions. And boyy I'm going to stick to them!

Another serious/distressing note, I today received a letter from Walsall College telling me my appointment time and date. I only have five days to prepare a portfolio :/ I do not feel ready in the slightest but I really need to pull this off too! I couldn't bear staying on for sixth form :(

All I need to complete the look is the right shoes however I just have no idea though! HALP PLZ ;D
